Collaboration Task Force Update

The collaboration team of Our Savior's and First Lutheran has come up with a name for their work together: C.P.R…Common Purpose Relationship. We are two individual congregations who are called and commissioned to the same common purpose: To be caring communities of faith who reach out to others with the love of Jesus Christ. At the team's last meeting, members shared many common allusions to the term "CPR":

  • This team and our congregations are focused on giving and sustaining life;
  • CPR is never administered individually - there must always be at least two in this life giving process;
  • CPR training and certification is on-going - so will be our relationship building and our efforts at working cooperatively for the sake of the gospel.  God's Work, Our Hands Sunday, which we'll enjoy on July 27th, will be one of those efforts at working together

The C.P.R. Task Force, or Our First Responders, will meet regularly and communicate their work to each congregation on a consistent basis. Keep the C.P.R. team in your prayers as we give God thanks for their commitment, dedication and openness to the Spirit's movement.  Team members are:

Lynn Fering,   Amy Schoeder,   David Smith, Spencer Tollefson,   Bill Klaus,   Jill Garrison, Pastor Gail, George,   Pastor Amy Odgren
